Biography

In a small earth colony near the Romulan Star Empire, a young child was born. Gabriel Suai was born to a relatively unremarkable child and rarely excelled in anything however his father was a freighter captain and his mother was an Administration worker for the colony representative.

Gabriel found his life on the borders of the federation to be less comfortable than his earth counterparts. He studied at the colony school before deciding to take up engineering for his vocation. Unfortunately the vocation fell through as his father's business ran into trouble and he was forced to return home to take over the family business. Of which he took to very quickly and became absorbed in the business.

Although he was the commanding officer of his ship he hadn't attained any specific rank, though he was collectively known as 'Skipper'. The family business thrived under his leadership and two years after he had taken over the business had acquired a few more vessels and was doing very well for itself. Gabriel was often popular with his crew but he was fairly unpopular with the Romulan Star Empire after a number of smuggling operations.

Although he commanded a number of ships he preferred himself to take to an escort vessel used when transporting particularly important cargo unfortunately during that mission he was ambushed by a Romulan military craft and forced to abandon ship as his freighter and escorting vessel were both destroyed.

At the age of 28, and floating around in his escape pod, a mysterious spacial phenomenon threw him towards the Maxia system where he was taken in by a number of people who were in a similar situation but hadn't chosen to return home. Gabriel however was different and did return home.

Unfortunately, the business had been taken over by his younger brother and was doing surprisingly well and feeling like a spare part he returned to Maxia and found himself needed and appreciated. Gabriel after a few years was then recruited to the Asauche as a temporary First Officer.

Personality

He's quiet but decisive and works hard. He'll deal with things behind the scenes and unofficially until the problem sorts itself out.
