Biography

Devon Arclight has an unusual history in that he was born on an M class planet not too far away from Maxia and as a child had been told on a number of occassions to avoid the Maxia system as it was the keeper of the dead. Generally though, Devon was a responsibile child.

Early in his life he set his ambition on being a scientist and making humans surpass themselves through augments. While he was very good with robotics he wasn't very good at achieving his goal, at least not until it was suggested that he should aim to be a doctor instead. This was a new revelation to him, if it wasn't for that person he would have instead become a security officer instead. Now though he turned his attention to looking after people.

His education rapidly started to become only medicine orientated, his knowledge of herbs and the human body became sought after in his small community and while he wasn't trained by the institution he gained a reputation for being the healer, even though he'd barely touched a literature document. Eventually however he was sponsored by the community to go to the Medical Training Facility near Sector 072.

He completed his training as a doctor fifteen years later and became quite a successful doctor when he returned home, but he also became an accomplished researcher in augments which was his original dream. After heading to earth to deliver a proposal to starfleet on Augments, he was however pulled to the Maxia system by a spacial phenomenon.

At the age of 30, surprisingly young for an accomplished Doctor and scientist of Augmentation, he found himself on a space station, abandoned by Star fleet and he was needed far more than his home planet needed him. He put his skills to use helping Deep Space Maxia and helped to train other doctors, even though they weren't perfect they would make good relief officers.

Devon stepped forwards at the age of 34 to join the Asauchi crew.

Personality

He's a diligent person and very flexible but he keeps himself to himself yet he remains independant if not slightly reclusive.

He's quite reclusive and gets angered when people step on his toes. His temper can be quite flashy.

To be able to augment disabled humans so that they could function just as well if not better than normal humans.
